Every therapeutic relationship is different but many clients describe therapy as a space where they can finally exhale.
Sessions are led at your pace. Some days may involve exploring emotions or experiences in depth, while others may focus more on practical tools, reflection or navigating current challenges.
I work gently and honestly, helping you feel supported while also encouraging meaningful self-awareness and growth.
You do not need to prepare perfectly or know exactly what to say. Showing up as you are is enough.

Person-Centred Therapy (PCA) is a humanistic approach that places you, your experiences, feelings and pace at the centre of the work.
It is grounded in empathy, authenticity and unconditional positive regard. In this approach, you lead the direction and I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on for you, your sense of identity, self-worth, relationships, attachments, and what truly matters to you.
This way of working encourages self-compassion, personal growth and the confidence to live more authentically. The quality of our relationship becomes the foundation for deeper self-understanding, self-acceptance and meaningful change.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that explores how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact and how these patterns can shape your experience of the world.
It focuses on gently noticing unhelpful thinking styles or behavioural patterns and finding more balanced, supportive ways of responding. Together, we might explore anxious thoughts, self-criticism, or avoidance and how these impact your mood, relationships and day-to-day choices.
I integrate CBT tools such as reframing, grounding and behavioural changes in a flexible and compassionate way, never rigid or one-size-fits-all. The aim is to help you build awareness, develop practical coping strategies and feel more in control of how you respond to life’s challenges.

Trauma-Informed Therapy recognises how past overwhelm or trauma can affect your nervous system, relationships, emotions and sense of safety.
It supports people experiencing the ongoing impact of trauma, such as hypervigilance, flashbacks, nightmares, emotional numbness, or sudden waves of fear. This approach prioritises safety, stability and empowerment, helping you to better understand what’s happening within you.
Together, we gently make sense of your experiences and introduce grounding and regulation tools that support both your body and mind. You are never pushed to revisit traumatic events before you are ready; instead, we work collaboratively and at your pace, creating a sense of safety as you begin to process and move forward.

Working in a way that suits you means finding an approach that feels comfortable, manageable and natural for you.
Not everyone finds it easy to sit face to face and talk and that’s completely okay.
I offer a more flexible way of working, shaped around what feels most comfortable for you.
For some people, this might mean a gentle walk-and-talk session outdoors, where conversation can flow more naturally side by side. For others, it might feel easier to have something to focus on during sessions, such as drawing, colouring, or using simple creative materials alongside talking.
These approaches can help reduce the intensity of direct communication and create a more relaxed, natural space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
We can always find a way of working together that feels right for you.
I offer both online and in-person therapy sessions, allowing you to choose the environment that feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
Online sessions can provide flexibility and familiarity from your own space, while in-person sessions offer a calm, private environment away from the distractions of everyday life.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes.
Therapy can look different for everyone, but our work together may involve:
There is no expectation to share everything immediately. Trust and safety are built over time.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if therapy is new to you.
If you have questions before booking, you’re welcome to get in touch for an informal conversation about how I work and whether therapy with me feels like the right fit.
