Professional affiliations

I’m proud to be registered with:

  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

These organisations exist to protect clients and support practitioners. Being part of them means I work to the highest ethical standards, engage in regular supervision and continue to develop my skills to support you safely and effectively.

BACP membership

I follow the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)  Ethical Framework, which centres on compassion, respect and the client’s autonomy. It guides how I hold boundaries, how I manage confidentiality and how I ensure you always feel safe, heard and in control of your therapeutic journey.

NCPS membership

Being registered with the NCPS reflects my commitment to ongoing learning and reflective practice. It means regular supervision, continuous development and a promise to show up for you with professionalism and humanity in equal measure.

My approach to ethical practice

Creating a safe and respectful therapeutic space is central to how I work

This includes:

  • confidentiality
  • professional boundaries
  • regular supervision
  • working within ethical frameworks
  • recognising the individuality of each client’s experience

Therapy is never about judgement or “fixing” you. It’s about offering support, understanding and space for meaningful reflection and change.

Continuing professional development

Therapy is an evolving field and ongoing learning forms an important part of my work.

Alongside formal qualifications, I regularly engage in continued professional development, reflective practice and professional supervision to ensure I can support clients safely, ethically and thoughtfully.

Beyond qualifications

While qualifications are important, I also believe the therapeutic relationship itself matters deeply.

Feeling heard, safe and able to be yourself within therapy can be just as important as the approach or modality being used.

Finding the right therapist for you matters.

I'm here to help you

If you’d like to ask anything about my qualifications, experience or approach before arranging a session, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
